Briyana Guadalupe is a 14 year old vocalist who lives in Canton, Georgia where she attends Sequoyah High School and is active in the Drama Club. She enjoys reading, helping young girls and looks forward to attending NYU, Julliard or Harvard where she will major in Broadcast Journalism. In the future Briyana would like to become the Editor and Chief of her own Fashion Magazine.
Briyana along with other young ladies from across the United States, the Caribbean and Canada displayed their intelligence and talents at the 39th annual Hal Jackson’s Talented Teens International Scholarship program on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Aaron Davis Hall on the campus of City College in New York City. Briyana took the theme of the 39th annual event, “I Am Change,” and performed a medley of songs with a change theme: A Change is Gonna Come, Everything Must Change, and I Am Changing which won the judges hearts and now she has been named the most talented teen in the world. She entered Talented Teens to share her talent with others and to learn how to be a better performer. Her motto is “Team work makes the dream work!” As the 2009 international winner, the person with the highest talent score, and being chosen as Miss Creativity by the other young ladies, Briyana has won a total of $6,250 in scholarships to the college of her choice.
